Heroes of the Second Generation
The youngest son of Caramon and Tika Majere is now the most powerful mage on Krynn. Originally of the White Robes, Palin carried his uncle's staff—the Staff of Magius—following his Test. After the Second Cataclysm, Palin founded the Academy of Sorcery, teaching the lost art of magic to the world's mages.
Son of Kitiara Uth-Matar and Sturm Brightblade, Steel joined the Knights of Takhisis at a young age. Rescued from the Dark Queen's influence by his father's starjewel and carrying the Brightblade, Steel died in the Battle of the Rift and was buried in the Last Heroes Tomb.
Usha Majere is the child of the Irda. Raised by this now forgotten race, Usha was naive in the ways of the world. She met Palin Majere, and during their travels together helped defeat Chaos at the Battle of the Rift. Palin and Usha are married and have a daughter, Linsha, who is a Knight of Solamnia.
These two are Caramon and Tika's older sons, the first people to become Knights of Solamnia not of a family in centuries. The two brothers, named for Tanis Half-Elven and Sturm Brightblade, perished in one of the first battles of the Summer of Chaos.
Moonsong and Brightdawn, daughters of Riverwind and Goldmoon, traveled with their father to help the eastern countries of Ansalon against the invasion of Malystyrx. Brightdawn and her father perished, but Moonsong—though horribly wounded—escaped with her life. She still bears the scars of the building in Kendermore that fell on her.
Tanis Half-Elven and Laurana Kanan had one son together, Gilthas Kanan. When Porthios was forced off the throne of Qualinesti, the elven senators instead put Gilthas in his place. Gilthas is a puppet king, not only of the senators but of the Knights of Takhisis as well.
Jasper is the nephew of the legendary Flint Fireforge and a devout cleric of Reorx. Jasper fought in the War of the Lance and went north to Abanasinia to do missionary work. After the Chaos War, his uncle told him in a dream to go to the Inn of the Last Home and meet Goldmoon. Upon travelling there he was injured and fatally wounded. Goldmoon came to his rescue and first discovered the powers of the heart, by which she saved his life. Jasper then became one of Goldmoon's first pupils in mysticism and aided her in setting up her Citadel of Light in Schallsea. Jasper also assisted Dhamon and the heroes in their adventures against the overlords. In the final fight against the five dragons, Jasper was slain by Onysablet the black overlord.
